HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY! / Garden Update

Things grow really fast here.  We expanded the garden in front of our tent to include a large patch of onions and peppers, cucumbers, and tomatoes.  Our tomatoes are fruiting and we started them from seed a little over a month ago.

Unfortunately the garden had to be moved since the terrace where the tents were is being demolished and made into new lettuce beds.  We tried to save as many plants as we could and we moved them to a small area between the coffee and banana trees.

Where the tents and garden were:

We still have to move the cucumbers and tomatoes… the tomatoes might not make the transplant since they are HUGE:

  1. Your garden looks awesome. Incredible to have fruiting tomatoes in a month. Today it is snowing. Will probably have a foot by days end. Loved the spider web photo.
